Under the godaddy domain, New York resident and student Yusef Lateef created this site. However, he acknowledges the fact that this website couldn’t exist without the many students that publish thier works here!

The goal of this website was to educate the public on environmental issues, as well as promoting a sustainable lifestyle! Taking time to appreciate nature is also a major goal of this website, as seeing what you might lose to environmental issues only makes you care about those issues more!

Though the website was initially aimed at giving high-school students an opportunity to publish their thoughts on environmentalism, it has expanded to include middle school students, college students, as well as adults!  

Unfortunately, there are no ways for LivingGreen to compensate publishers. However, we encourage high school students to submit, either for volunteer hours, or just to write it on their college applications!
